Ms. Kusum Athukorala is an experienced multidisciplinary research and development professional in areas of rural development, IWRM, gender and water. She has been a key expert on various international projects on issues of gender and environment, is engaged actively in advocacy in these areas, and serves as a member on various steering committees and advisory boards of Universities and International development organizations.
